Mary lives in Michigan, graduated with a BA degree in fine arts from Marygrove College and is a retired graphic artist, musician. Mary has a very active family life as the mother of seven children and grandmother of 13.  

As TWSA Newsletter Chair, Mary's background is a perfect fit , having spent many years as advertising artist for a local suburban newspaper group of 12 newspapers, she now enjoys the opportunity that serving as Newsletter Chair affords.  Mary continues to use graphic arts software in producing the paper version of the TWSA newsletter as well as the newsletter for the Michigan Water Color Society.

While Mary claims she is "retired" we all know better, she's active in so many areas, and has been quoted as saying  "As a retiree, I am still active in church activities, including website committee for our parish, but find that watercolor requires a firm resolve to spend the time in the studio and that is a difficult thing for me to do."
