Joye Moon earned her Bachelors of Fine Art at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and holds several signature memberships such as National Watercolor Society, Mississippi, Rhode Island and Wisconsin Watercolor Society. Joye has been painting since she was a child, always focusing on watercolor. After graduation, she continued her artistic education by working with a variety of professional artists throughout the country.

Joye's position on the TWSA Board as Chairperson for Exhibit Final screening plays a key role in assuring that all paintings accepted into the TWSA show comply with the transparent qualifications.

Joye maintains her studio in Wisconsin and has organized over a dozen international painting trips and has taught workshops throughout the United States for watercolor societies and art centers. In addition, her work has been accepted into over 50 National and International juried competitions. Most recently, Joye has completed her first art book, "Exploring Textures in Watercolor" published by North Light Books.
