What began as a hobby while balancing her career responsibilities has turned into Gayle's passion. Zoltan Szabo was one of many artists influencing Gayle's work, as were her studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her travels in the states and abroad are reflected in many of her works.

As President of the Transparent Watercolor Society of America, Gayle oversees all aspects of the organization, tapping into her background in management and business ownership. Gayle started on the board as historian in 2007, became Vice President in 2009, and will serve as president through 2013.

Gayle is a Lifetime Member - Transparent Watercolor Society of America; Charter and Board Member - Antioch Fine Arts Foundation. Gayle's work has been exhibited in one and two women shows, and is part of the NIMC permanent art collection in McHenry, IL as well as many private collections.
