Barbara, who lives in Mundelein, IL, with her husband and three children, is the owner of a local cabinet manufacturing business. She discovered the joy of watercolor painting while pursuing an Art Minor at Northern Illinois University where she majored in Speech Communication with an emphasis in Radio, Television and Film.

Barbara joined the TWSA board in 2004 and served three years as the Awards Chair, followed by one year as Strategic Planning Chair, becoming Treasurer in June 2008.

Barbara has also been a member of the Lakes Region Watercolor Guild for several years.

Her paintings have been shown at the Norris Gallery, Scholl Museum, Anderson Arts Center, Robert T. Wright Community Gallery of Art and the Illinois Watercolor Society.
